Gratify an FFL Licence
Any mortal involved in the manufacture, sale, distribution, or transport of guns must acquire a Federal Firearms Licence. This is the decision of the Gun Dominion Circumstance of 1968. Rules for lifetime in the gun Production are somewhat strict--you must be at least 21 dotage doddering, chalk up no felonies on your copy and chalk up never dedicated a violation of federal firearm principle. Your application will be processed, and you will be given a background check.5. Check local and state requirements to make sure your business complies with the rules of the location you intend to function it from.
1. Stop the U.S. Office of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) office in your state, or visit the ATF website (see link in References).
2. Pick up or download a packet for the application for a firearms license, complete with instructions.
3. File an application with the ATF. For most individuals, this is ATF Form 7. You will be required to give proof of identification, a photograph of yourself and your fingerprints.
4. Mail or deliver the application to an ATF office. Remember to include the application fee, which differs from state to state. You must again be a U.S. local. Individuals recently discharged from the military are as well ineligible.
