1. Use an international phone card and dial the number on the back of the card. Enter the PIN code to start calling.If for personal or function things, there may come a speck in your growth that you must to constitute an international telephone ring. 2. Check whether you need to dial "9." For some businesses and institutions, dialing 9 is required to make an external phone call or fax. If you are calling a cell or home phone number you most likely do not have to dial 9. If you are calling a business, email a representative and inquire about this matter.
3. Dial the country code for the U.S. This number is "011" and is required to make a call outside of the country.
4. Dial the country code for Australia. This number is "61."
5. Dial the city code and local phone number. Australia is divided into eight city codes which are all one digit in length.
