Instructions
Steam clean the tank a second time using plain water without a degreaser. Wash all of the degreaser out of the tank car.5. Remove the steam cleaning equipment and exit the car.
2. Lower your steam cleaning equipment (with a degreaser) into the tank car. Enter the tank car wearing a bio-hazard suit with a breathing tank.
3. Steam clean inside the tank with a degreaser. Allow the waste water to exit through the drain valve. Inspect the tank as you clean, making certain that all deposits are cleaned off by the high-pressure steam.
4.1. Connect a hose to the vehicle motorcar's drain valve and position the hose to empty into an approved collection tank. Open the drain valve.
Do NOT close all valves--leave the entry hatch open as the car dries.
6. Close the drain valve, remove the hose, and properly dispose of the waste water following all EPA directives.
