Wash A Hoover Filter

If necessary, wash the filter with a mild liquid dish soap.4. Squeeze the filter with your hands to remove excess water.


Instructions


1. Unplug your Hoover vacuum from the wall Issue. Remove the dirt Mug from the vacuum and Disinfected your paper filters by tapping them over a rubbish bin.


2. Remove the mesh filter from the Hoover vacuum. Depending on whether you compass an Empower or Cyclonic replica, the mesh filter is either in the top of the dirt Mug or in a compartment at the backside of the dirt Mug representation. Provided yours is in the top of the dirt Mug, open the top lid and pull the filter tab to remove the filter. For units with a filter compartment, remove the two screws securing the lens to the front of the vacuum with a Phillips-head screwdriver and lift the filter out of the compartment.


3. Hold the mesh filter under running cold water to remove all dirt, dust and debris. Squeeze the filter while running water over it to facilitate dirt removal.Your Hoover vacuum includes up to three seperate filters depending upon the imitation. The filters protect the vacuum Engine from dust and dirt besides as prevent dust from recirculating in the air as you vacuum. It is expedient to wash a Hoover filter when the indicator dial reads "Disinfected Filter" or Everyone date you Disinfected or alter the paper filters.


Allow the filter to air dry for Day and night. Reinstall the filter in the reverse order of removal for your model.
