Verify the phone line is connected to the Pitney Bowes DM400 if you have difficulty refilling with postage-by-phone. Check your account---the refill amount can't exceed the credit limit or funds in the account.6. Seat the scale top cover properly on the scale if you get erratic postage weights, or the scale doesn't return to zero.
