The History Of The Hp Pc

Hewlett Packard is noted for selling printers also as computers.


When Hewlett Packard (HP) began in 1939, the firm's fundamental product was a sound testing Slogan. HP built its elementary pc in 1966, on the other hand it wasn't until 1980 that the first off HP pc (Personal computer) hit the marketplace.


Hewlett Packard introduced its ahead Machine, the HP-85, in 1980. The machine came with between 16 and 32 KB of random access memory (RAM), a tape drive and a built-in black and white monitor. By 1983, HP introduced its first touch-screen PC with the HP-150 model.




PC Coined

In 1968 HP introduced the HP 9100A, the microcosm's ahead desktop scientific calculator. Though not a machine by nowadays's standards, the calculator inspired the ahead documented convenience of the phrase "pc."

First HP PC


First Laptop


The HP-110, Hewlett Packard's first portable PC, went on the market in 1984. The computer came with a 16-bit processor, 272 KB of RAM and the HP Personal Application Manager software.


Pavilion PC


The 1990s heralded the HP Pavilion line of personal and office computers. The first in the series, HP Pavilion 5030, came with a 75 MHz Pentium processor, an 850 MB hard drive and Microsoft Windows 95.


Compaq


Hewlett Packard acquired Compaq Computer Corporation in 2002, introducing the HP Compaq Tablet PC the same year. As of July 2010, Hewlett Packard maintains that it will continue to sell both HP and Compaq computers in the future.
