What Is Ce Mark Approval

Product manufacturers should remit to the European Comission's "Blue Guide." This will help determine if they need to apply for CE marking because their product comes under any of the relevant New Approach and Global Approach EU directives.

Products

CE marking applies to 20 main product groups. They include children's toys, low-voltage electrical equipment, machinery and medical devices.




Children's toys fall within the scope of CE marking.Manufacturers wanting to Commerce within the European Union (EU) application for CE point approval for confident products to illustrate that they accommodated all the important health, safety and environmental legislation. CE marking ensures that manufacturers can sell products in any of the EU member states or the European Handout Commerce Collection countries without extremely safety checks or product adaptations.

Process


Manufacturers need to nominate an authorized representative in the EU, prepare a declaration of conformity, register the product in the EU and then apply the CE marking to the product.
