IDD stands for international manage dialling. By purchasing a SIM card for your cell call that allows you to phone another country--or an IDD SIM card--you can phone the Philippines. A SIM card can be inserted into any cell ring that operates with a SIM card. These cards are pre-paid, then you can recharge the card with bounteous boodle when needed. Calling Cards


Whether you close not acquire a cell bell or prefer to ring from a land path or remuneration telephone you can get a calling card. There are many calling cards available (see Resources). Before beginning the dialing process in Section 3, follow the directions on the back of your calling card to use the money put on the card.You can telephone the Philippines from Singapore by using a landline or a cell ring that lets you ring internationally. Two affordable ways to bell internationally are to get a calling card for appliance on remuneration phones and landlines, or invest in an IDD SIM card for your cell bell. IDD and Roaming SIM Cards



The "011" signals your phone that you are dialing out of the country, and 63 is the country code for the Philippines.


Dial the two digit area code. If you are using a cell phone, dial 9 + area code. (See Resources for a list of area codes in the Philippines.) Dial the 7 digit phone number of the person you want to call. You may need to wait a few seconds to hear a ring tone that signals that your call has gone through.
