Nasd Regulation

NASD became articulation of FINRA which regulates the securities bazaar.


The Governmental Firm of Securities Dealers (NASD) regulated the activities of brokers and dealers in the securities markets. In 2007, NASD merged with the Latest York Inventory Transform's (NYSE) rule comittee to embodiment the Financial Production Regulatory Administration (FINRA), according to Investopedia.

FINRA's Investor Education Foundation is the largest foundation designed for investor education in the USA. The Foundation uses grants and targeted projects to help protect investors through education.




The FINRA Board consists of the chief executive officer of FINRA, the chief executive officer of NYSE Regulation, 11 public governors, and 10 industry governors, according to the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).

Duties

FINRA is responsible for all securities firms operating in the USA. The regulator is responsible for protecting investors by ensuring fair and honest industry operations.
